In May, Cattolica hosts an important cycling event: Granfondo degli Squali.
Bicycle enthusiasts will have the opportunity to take long rides between sea and hills, crossing evocative landscapes!

Two fascinating routes
The departure is from the aquarium of Cattolica and two are the routes to choose from, which will pass through Morciano, Saludecio, San Leo and Mercatino Conca, also touching Tavullia and finally the San Bartolo Panoramica.
The two routes have different lengths: the long route runs for well 128 km and has an altitude difference of 2020 metres and a maximum gradient of 14%, while the short course covers 85 km of road with an altitude difference of 1393 metres and a maximum gradient of 8%.
Races end in Gabicce Monte and on arrival participants will find the customary grilled blue fish and piadina, symbols of our land.
Novelties 2023 - Sharks 46: in honour of Valentino Rossi and Tavullia, a third route suitable for everyone of - obviously - 46 km. Road bike, MTB or even e-bike, this route is for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the area without the hassle of the stopwatch.
