Parks
Cattolica is a seaside town, but nearby there are many amusement parks that offer the opportunity to spend a different kind of day. In town there is the Parco Le Navi, one of the largest aquariums in Italy, with over one hundred tanks and fascinating guests: penguins, sharks, turtles and amazing jellyfish.
You can wear your bathing suit and take the same bag that you carry to the beach for a day at a water park like Aquafan in Riccione. It covers 9 acres on the hill of Riccione: Here there are slides for a total of more than 3 kilometres of crazy descents, between splashing and screaming, Radio Deejay entertainment and attractions for children. In Riccione there's also the Indiana Golf Theme Park on the waterfront, which offers two miniature golf courses.
There is also the Oltremare park where, in addition to the possibility of discovering something new about the habits of the inhabitants of the deep , many attractions ensure lots of emotions , to make learning fun.
Further north, on the Adriatic Highway, there's Fiabilandia: with its colorful rides it's is an amusement park that is particularly suitable for younger children.
In Rimini Marina center there's is the dolphinarium, right next to the harbor: here you can witness spectacular performances that leave children and adults with their mouths open. North of Rimini, is a rather unique park , Italy in Miniature: in just a few acres, you can visit all of beautiful Italy and enjoy its architectural beauty rebuilt to perfection thanks to the detailed miniatures, there are also exciting attractions such as the Cannonacqua to revive a medieval challenge with the spray of water, canoes, and a water ride.
Finally, if you drive another 50 km you reach Mirabilandia, one of the largest parks in Europe, suitable for the whole family : there are hundreds of breathtaking attractions, and each year they increase to offer the latest attractions. Moreover, lush gardens, acrobatic shows and stunt films in 3D and much more are available.
